A universal holder is a simple non ejector style straight barrel holder. Instead of a taper for electrode attachment it is threaded for use of threaded adapters. The threaded adapters allow welding in line with the barrel length or at right angle or 30 degrees.
Threaded adapters for this style holder come in straight as shown 30 and 90 degree angles.
In addition this holder and other barrel style holders can be coupled with a “T” connector and can be used to build a Universal Holder Systems, which extend the holder into otherwise unreachable areas of a part. The holders are water cooled and in the case of the 90 degree threaded adapter an electrode knock out version is available.
